Isn't it ironic how some of the most profound ideas come out of humour? Jon Stewart’s closing statement at the Rally to Restore Sanity (10 Oct, 2010) is one of the most sensible and thoughtful “political” statements that I have heard in a long while. Amidst the polemics of cynicism, anger and hate that seem to have become a staple of American politics, it is reassuring to know that there still remains a sane and silent majority in that country...
